PregnancyChanceCalculator.com (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. We design our calculators so health inputs stay on your device or are processed only to return a result. We do not sell your personal information.
Scope
This policy covers our website and mobile apps (the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to this policy and our Terms of Use.
What we collect
- Calculator inputs: We do not store the health values you type into our calculators. Where a server function is needed to compute a result, inputs are processed transiently to return the result, then discarded.
- Contact details you give us: If you email us, submit a form, or tick “connect with a specialist,” we collect what you provide (for example: name, email, phone, preferred times, and your message).
- Usage data: Analytics and diagnostics record events such as page views, session duration, approximate location (city or region from IP), device and browser type, app version, and crash reports.
How we use information
- Provide the Services: Run calculators, show results, and operate the site and apps.
- Improve and secure: Debug issues, measure performance, and prevent abuse.
- Support and outreach: Reply to messages and, if you ask, connect you with a partner clinic.
- Advertising and measurement: Show ads and measure performance where allowed.
Cookies and similar technologies
We and our partners use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to run the site, remember choices, understand usage, and, where allowed, personalise and measure ads. In the EEA and UK we show a consent banner (Mediavine Journey) so you can make choices.
You can also manage cookies in your browser settings. Refusing cookies may limit some features.
Analytics, advertising, and diagnostics
- Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Analytics for Firebase: Usage and event data to understand how the Services are used. GA4 does not collect calculator health inputs. IP addresses may be used for general location and can be limited by Google’s controls.
- Firebase Crashlytics: Crash reports that may include device and app state at the time of a crash. Used to fix bugs.
- Microsoft Clarity: Heatmaps and session replays to improve usability. We configure it to avoid capturing obvious sensitive fields. Do not enter information you would not want processed by analytics.
- Advertising (Google and Mediavine): We may show ads. In regions that require consent, personalised ads run only with your consent. Otherwise ads may be non-personalised and use limited cookies for frequency, fraud prevention, and reporting.
Provider resources and opt-outs:
“Connect with a specialist”
If you tick this box, we share the contact details you provided (for example: name, email, phone, time zone, and your note) with a vetted fertility clinic partner so they can offer a free phone consultation. We do not share your calculator inputs. You can ask us to stop sharing and to delete your details.
Sharing
We use trusted service providers to host, deliver, and support the Services (for example: web hosting and CDN, analytics, crash reporting, email). They may access personal information only to provide their services to us and must keep it confidential. We may also share information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. When we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
Retention
- Calculator inputs: Not stored by us; transient processing only where needed for results.
- Contact and support messages: Typically kept up to 24 months, then deleted or archived.
- Analytics and ads data: Kept per provider defaults and our configuration.
Your rights
Australia
You may request access to and correction of personal information we hold about you.
EEA and UK
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, and portability, and object to certain processing. You can withdraw consent at any time via the consent banner or your browser settings.
California (CPRA)
You may request to know, delete, and correct personal information, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information in the common sense of the term. Where “share” covers cross-context behavioural advertising, you can opt out via the consent banner or your browser controls.
Children’s privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Links to other sites
Our Services may link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post changes here and update the “Last updated” date.
