PregnancyChanceCalculator.com publishes interactive calculators and short explainers for general education. This page describes how we create, review, and update content, and how advertising relates to our work.
How calculators are built
- Models are based on published research and population-level data. Assumptions and limitations are listed in the Methodology and sources section on each tool.
- We favour high-quality sources: clinical guidelines, government and professional bodies, systematic reviews, and large peer-reviewed studies.
- Each live calculator shows an updated date near the top of the page.
- New calculators and major model changes are reviewed by the founder, Sam, before going live.
Review and updates
- We review popular tools at least annually, and sooner if important evidence changes.
- Corrections: email [email protected] with a link, the issue, and a suggested source. Substantiated corrections are prioritised.
Editorial independence
- Advertising does not influence calculator logic, rankings, or conclusions.
- Sponsored content or paid embeds, if any, will be clearly labelled.
